Important Mailing

This is an exciting time for the Lake Underwood Nimrod Club as we celebrate our 125th Anniversary.  The picnic committee has been hard at work planning a weekend celebration starting on Friday, July 31st with a Wine & Cheese Welcome, catered Buffet Picnic on Saturday and Farewell Potluck Brunch on Sunday.

This week you will received an important mailing.  It will contain the following:

(1) Annual Dues Invoice to be mailed back with check for $400 prior to dead line of July 1st.

(2) Invitation to 125th Anniversary Weekend Celebration.  RSVP required plus $10 for each person attending the catered Buffet Picnic on August 1st.  RSVP and payment deadline is June 29th.

(3) Agenda for our Annual Membership Meeting to be held on June 27, 2015 at 1pm in the clubhouse.  Please bring a bottle of wine, liquor or 6 pack of beer to donate to the Anniversary Picnic Baskets of Cheer Raffle.

(4) 125th Anniversary Merchandise Order Forms are below.  The deadline to order merchandise is June 30th.  Merchandise order forms to be mailed with payment to:  Barbara Mushel, 33 Sunset Drive, Scott Township, PA 18411.  Merchandise Order Form and Fish Pin Order Form.

This is going to be a fun summer as Lake Underwood!  Thanks in advance for getting us your Picnic RSVP and merchandise order forms in by the deadlines plus your annual dues.

LUNC Workday

This notice is to inform you of our upcoming LUNC workday scheduled for Saturday, May 16th.  The workday will begin at the Clubhouse at 9:00am.  This is a change from its usual date of the last Saturday in April due to committee scheduling conflicts and the late start of this spring.  Many of the projects will be similar to last year, including general clubhouse and grounds clean up.  As we approach the date we will send out a more detailed list of club chores and projects for this workday.  As always, the workday is a great opportunity not just to get some work done but also meet and enjoy other members.  It’s one of my favorite club get-togethers each year.  Please mark your calendar and come join us!!
