“Y” Property Purchase Completed
We are so excited and pleased to announce that the “Y” property now belongs to LUNC as of 11:05 AM today!
Thank you club members for your support and patience through the entire process!
The property is now open for your enjoyment just like any other LUNC property. Please be mindful of our new neighbors. If you are not familiar with the new property borders, check with Tim Westgate for details.

Hello Club Members,
Ten days and counting until the Annual Lake Underwood Nimrod Club Picnic! You are cordially invited to attend. It will be a fabulous event! The club picnic is Saturday, August 6th starting at 1PM. The Club will provide plates, napkins, utensils, beer, soda & coffee.
Bring your favorite dish to share. If you are bringing a large group, please bring extra!

ROberta’s Passing
It is with sadness, that we announce the passing of Roberta Sayers. She was a long-time resident of Lake Underwood with deep family roots in our club. Her kin have been notified.

2021 LUNC Picnic!
Club Members,
Our friend, May Slocum, passed away Sunday, June 6th. May celebrated her 100th birthday with family last month. Sydney said she was in good spirits at that time and enjoyed seeing everyone.

What can you do?
Preventing the spread of nuisance species doesn’t start and end at the boat launch, it first happens with education and awareness. It happens on land and in water. Nuisance species include those invisible to the naked eye and those that are very large in size. Nuisance species are those that are capable of fundamentally changing an ecosystem indefinitely with irreversible negative consequences. With that in mind, it’s helpful to know what to look for.
